Flying to Hollywood to Attend the Open Mic Awards

​The nearest airports are:
 

LAX (Los Angeles International Airport)
Approx: 27 mins/12 miles from the Open Mic Awards
or
Burbank (Bob Hope/Hollywood Airport) 
Approx 23 mins/9 miles from the Open Mic Awards

For reasonably priced rates for flights to Los Angeles, as well as hotel rooms, 

go to a website like www.orbitz.com and search "Flights" or "Stays"

 

Also, the awards ceremony goes until at least 11pm on Sunday,

so the earliest you should consider flying home is Monday morning.  ​

But it's Hollywood, stay longer and enjoy yourself!

Ground Transportation:

Ground transportation to and from the airport is VERY easy. 

There are always shuttle buses at the airports.

 

Also Uber and Lyft go to/from both airports. 

They also sometimes offer one free ride for first time users.

Everything you are going to want to see and do while in Hollywood is very close to the awards venue, so you really don't need a rent-a-car, but if you do, go to a website like
